Secret Weapons Over Normandy

Description

In Secret Weapons Over Normandy, you take the role of James Chase, an American pilot who joins a secret elite squadron of Royal Air Force pilots during World War 2. As a member of the Battlehawks, you must take part in missions in several war theaters including Western and Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Pacific, experiencing historical battles and encounters like the Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, D-Day and the Battle of Midway. The primary enemy of the Battlehawks is their German Luftwaffe counterpart, called Nemesis.

The game features over 20 flyable historical aircraft, 15 campaign missions and 20 optional “challenge” missions. Between missions, the player’s plane can be upgraded with things like better armor and engines. The game also features unlockable bonuses like new planes and movies.

Description

The Sims 3 is, like its predecessors, a real-time simulation game where the player controls the lives of one or more people in a family including their work life and social activities. In order to do so, at the start of the game the player creates one or more characters on the character creation screen which has been even more expanded since The Sims 2. Besides more choices in terms of look, clothes, colors and such, the player also chooses five personality traits from a set of 63 sorted in four groups “Mental”, “Physical”, “Social” and “Lifestyle” as well as a lifetime-goal. The personality traits influence how the Sim reacts to each event in the game. The trait “work-a-holic” for example makes the Sim love to go to work and allows him to use a computer at home to put in additional hours.

The lifetime goal, on the other hand, is similar to wishes but requires a lot of work to get to. While granting wishes can be as simple as ordering a pizza, one lifetime goal requires the player to make his Sim a CEO of a big corporation which can’t be done over night. As a compensation, the fulfilling of a lifetime goal grants the player a very large amount of lifetime points as opposed to the normal wishes. These lifetime points are used to buy numerous forms of relief including the ability to make the Sim immune to hunger. This allows the player to focus less on fulfilling the basic needs of a Sim but more on advancing his skills and socializing with neighbors, co-workers and other people in the city. Euro Truck Simulator depicts the life of a long distance truck driver. Drive cargo and complete missions across Europe to earn money and unlock new trucks, all while driving through beautifully rendered scenery. The truck cabs are realistic and feature animated lights, wipers and indicators, and there are a number of different cities in which to play.

The missions in Euro Truck Simulator typically revolve around picking up and dropping off cargo. The player can play the game in a structured career mode, which typically involves joining a cargo company and driving cargo around the city to its destination.

San Francisco Rush The Rock – Alcatraz Edition

Description

For the N64 version of the arcade hit, Midway added all-new courses and shortcuts. All six courses can be run in reverse, mirrored, or mirrored and reversed. There’s even two hidden stunt courses! Graphically, the game sacrifices detail in favor of blindingly fast screen redraws.

The gameplay is very arcade-like: You fly through the air with the greatest of ease, and when you hit a wall your car bursts into flames. You can customize your car with different colors, racing stripes, tire rims and much more.

The Rock is a substantial upgrade to the original San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing arcade game. In addition to the three original tracks (now with additional shortcuts), it includes four new extra tracks, including the famous Alcatraz Island. Also added in this update is four new cars to drive, new music tracks and an option for mirrored tracks.

Some elements of this update would appear in the Nintendo 64 version of San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing (which was being developed simultaneously with the arcade The Rock.) …
