Description
Jack Driscoll, scriptwriter, follows director Carl Dernham and actress Ann Darrow to Skull Island where Dernham intends to film his next movie. But primeval creatures await them: giant insects, dinosaurs, and King Kong. Based on Peter Jackson's 2005 remake, King Kong lets you play as Jack Driscoll and Kong himself.
Jack's levels are HUDless FPS levels set on Skull Island. Jack must use a variety of weapons, traps, and fire to kill or repel Skull Island's fauna. Kong's levels are third-person brawlers set on Skull Island and New York City, where Kong must puzzle his way through environmental obstacles and thrash his opponents.
The PSP version is shorter, with some parts cut out which featured in the console and PC releases.

Signature Edition notes:
- By default uses fixed executables for the 16:9 aspect ratio, inside gamedir you will see a folder called "~AspectRatio" with various ARs, simply copy/replace the executables for your monitors's aspect ratio
Do NOT change the 60Hz refresh rate for the Signature edition as well as do NOT uncheck the Dual Core option in the settings!
- Runs with dgVoodoo with a capped framerate of 60FPS since some monitors cannot be set to a lower refresh rate. As a result the game will say that your video drivers are out of date, ignore that message
Gamer's Edition notes:
- Widescreen fix by ThirteenAG, although the game has been framecapped at 30 FPS to prevent some crashes in certain levels
Skipping intro cutscenes will cause a game freeze effect, simply continue pressing Esc to skip all intro cutscenes and load the game
- Windows Vista, 7 & 8 high CPU fix

Might want to note that the Signature Edition has a StarForce protection and will destroy Windows 7 and upwards if installed. For Win7+ users, use Gamer's Edition instead.
