Repack Notes
- The movies will not play on Vista and newer due to a missing codec in the system
- The game supports widescreen, however in the options menu the max screen resolution that you can configure is 1024 x 768, HOWEVER on a fresh installation of the game it will configure itself to use your desktop screen resolution, but if you change it in the options then you will lose the initial resolution and the game will be displayed in your chosen one
Any screen resolution can be configured in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\City Interactive\Project Freedom\V4D Direct3D Renderer" with regedit
Unresolved issues:
- Sound replay on hitch - if the game hitches, the audio engine will periodically replay a small portion of sound for about a second. The problem disappears after a level change or reloading a savegame
